Chris Paul's CP3.IX Shoe Officially Unveiled by Jordan Brand

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul had his newest sneaker from the Jordan Brand lineup, the CP3.IX, unveiled on Wednesday.

According to Darren Griffin of NiceKicks.com, the CP3.IX will be released in North America on Thursday with a $130 price tag, and it will move into worldwide territories one month later on Nov. 1.

The CP3.IX is being released in two colors, emerald and yellow dragon, providing options for the sneaker collector to decide which pair to buy—unless you want both.

The Yellow Dragon is an ancient Chinese mythological creature. Paul may not be a mythological creature, though his ability as a point guard is otherworldly.

Per SneakerNews.com, there's actually a Yellow Dragon on the back of the CP3.IX:

Paul has been one of the NBA's signature players for the past decade. He's been one of Jordan Brand's signature athletes throughout that time. 

The latest iteration of Paul's sneaker perfectly fits with his playing style, which is flashy without trying to draw attention to itself. There's a simplicity to it, though it's easy to see why the brand has become a staple in the athletic sneaker world.    

Jordan Brand has done well by the Clippers star as well as created a unique sneaker that will be an easy sell to hardcore and casual basketball fans.
