Nike Air Foamposite One 'Olive' Release Date, Pics and Retail Price
Nike gets workmanlike Friday with the release of the anticipated Air Foamposite One "Olive" release.
Mixing olive-green suede with the familiar Foamposite performance details creates a boot-esque sneaker just in time for the advancing cold of winter.
Here's a look at the release details, per Nike:
| Friday, September 25 | 10 a.m. ET | $250 |
Foot Locker provided a look at the shoe:
It's an attractive shoe from any angle. The olive wraps the shoe throughout the usual ridges and gets a nice black upper with olive laces. On bottom, the usual perforated design gets a light brown to top off a strong complement and hit the boot inspiration on the head.
Speaking of inspiration, the Nike link above detailed the goal of this new edition:
"Built to last, the Air Foamposite One quickly transcended its original purpose. Going from the hardwood to the pavement, the rugged sneaker is now prepared for the season in natural tones and classic materials. For this edition, olive green suede combines with boot-inspired elements and a traditional gum rubber sole.

From a top-down perspective, provided by Villa on Instagram, one gets a better look at the logo work on the tongue and inside:
As for the bottom, the perforations mesh well with the darker grips, per Sneaker Bar Detroit:
In a week littered with strong releases, this one hits on important marks. It looks great first and foremost, but also has quite relevant inspiration for the average kick enthusiast at just the right time of year.
Even better, it looks like a boot and can pass in any environment, not to mention perform well on the court thanks to the usual Foamposite designs.
Sneakerheads can get their hands on the Nike Air Foamposite One "Olive" starting Friday.
