Shane Battier and Daryl Morey Perform NBA Version of Duet from 'Wicked'

On Thursday, retired NBA forward Shane Battier and Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey performed a duet of “Defying Gravity” from the Broadway musical Wicked.

It went pretty hard.

Morey was dressed as the Good Witch of the South, Battier the Wicked Witch of the West.

Throughout the number, they took lighthearted jabs at DeAndre Jordan, Hasheem Thabeet, Chandler Parsons, Pat Riley, Mark Cuban and other NBA personalities.

This wasn’t some random performance. Battier hosts an annual charity fundraising event called “Battioke.” LeBron James and Dwyane Wade made an appearance two years ago, and they brought the house down, too.
