Daily Fantasy Sports: Packers' Rodgers, Lacy Favorites in Sportsbook Odds
The Green Bay Packers have a favorable matchup against the Chicago Bears in their season opener, and two members of their team are also favored to score the most daily fantasy points in their respective three-player positional groups for Week 1.
Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers is at +140 odds in his group at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark along with Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts, while Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks is at +250.
Rodgers has burned the Bears throughout his career with an 11-3 record in 14 regular season meetings, throwing for 3,448 yards with 31 touchdowns and eight interceptions. While Luck has the same odds as Rodgers at +140, he will face a much tougher defense on the road in the Buffalo Bills, which are now led by head coach Rex Ryan.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Wilson is a bit of a wild card because he is a dual-threat to score fantasy points with his arm and his legs. Last season, Wilson rushed for a career-high 849 yards with six touchdowns and also threw for a career-high 3,475 passing yards. The Seahawks also play a difficult defense on the road, though, as they visit the St. Louis Rams.
Like Rodgers, Packers running back Eddie Lacy is favored to score the most daily fantasy points in his group at +150 and should be able to barrel through a weak Chicago run defense. However, Lacy’s competition is formidable, as he must outscore Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings and Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks.
Peterson and Lynch are both +180 to win the group, and they each have a lot more experience than Green Bay’s 25-year-old bell cow. That may or may not be a good thing considering most running backs start heading downhill in their careers when they hit the age of 30.
Peterson sat out most of last year due to a personal conduct suspension and also missed some time due to a torn ACL, so he is not the typical 30-year-old. He will be facing the new-look defense of the San Francisco 49ers, which will be without linebackers Patrick Willis and Chris Borland after they retired due to injuries.
Lynch is 29 years old and has carried the ball 280 times or more in four consecutive seasons. He will try to score daily fantasy points against the much improved defense of the St. Louis Rams to win the group.
