Dwight Howard Says James Harden Is the Best Lefty of All Time

Whenever James Harden gets beat on defense, Dwight Howard has his back.

Apparently the Houston Rockers' 7-footer has the superstar shooting guard’s back in arguments about the all-time greats, too.

Howard took to Twitter on Monday to ask and tackle all types of basketball questions, and one of his most interesting beliefs was that Harden is the best left-handed player of all time:

Now, before all of Bill Russell’s disciples lose their minds, Howard did include the 11-time champion (who was a lefty) in his top three players:

Fans came at Howard pretty strongly, though, waving flags bearing the likeness of Russell or (to a lesser extent) David Robinson. He stuck to his guns:

But wait. If Russell is among D12’s big trio, how could Harden be the superior lefty? One follower asked:

Harden is definitely the league’s current king of the southpaws. And while he surely has a chance to etch his name alongside the all-time greats, the Beard is not quite there yet.
