LeBron and Brown Lead 76ers Past Bulls, Box Score Stats, Highlights for Caleb Wilson, Top Players
The new-look Philadelphia 76ers don't always make it easy. But more often than not, they find a way to win.
Philly moved to 9-2 on Sunday with a 127-121 victory over the Chicago Bulls, fueled primarily by the team's excellent starting lineup.
Here's a look at the game's key performers:
| Player | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK |
| Jaylen Brown, PHI | 29 | 7 | 4 | 1 | 0 |
| Tyrese Maxey, PHI | 27 | 4 | 7 | 0 | 0 |
| LeBron James, PHI | 22 | 5 | 5 | 1 | 0 |
| Joel Embiid, PHI | 18 | 10 | 5 | 2 | 0 |
| VJ Edgecombe, PHI | 13 | 6 | 3 | 3 | 0 |
| Caleb Wilson, CHI | 18 | 5 | 0 | 2 | 0 |
| Josh Giddey, CHI | 19 | 7 | 15 | 1 | 0 |
| Matas Buzelis, CHI | 19 | 5 | 2 | 0 | 1 |
| Jalen Smith, CHI | 17 | 8 | 2 | 0 | 4 |
The Sixers are still figuring out the half-court offense, but they can throw a lot of very good options at a defense.
There's Jaylen Brown attacking isos:
Tyrese Maxey's speed and shooting make him such a difficult assignment:
Joel Embiid is still a fantastic offensive threat on the block:
And of course there's LeBron James, tying it all together:
For all of Philly's individual talent, however, they haven't played selfishly. On Sunday the Sixers had 30 assists and just nine turnovers, crashed the boards hard (54-42 advantage) and continue to turn defense into easy buckets in transition.
The half-court offense is a work in progress, as expected. But the Sixers are doing the little things needed to win, and it's not as though they've had a cakewalk of a schedule thus far (4-2 record against the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons).
They'll be tested again on Tuesday in a matchup against Brown's former team, the Boston Celtics. There should be a bit of spice to that one.
Chicago (1-8) will face the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, hoping to end a seven-game losing streak.
