Atlanta Hawks guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker hit six three-pointers en route to 26 points, and five of his teammates posted double-digits scoring efforts en route to a 120-105 road win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday evening in the front end of a home-and-home matchup.
The Hawks were 2.5-point favorites, per FanDuel Sportsbook, but ultimately cleared the spread with ease despite Anthony Davis' 26-point, 10-rebound double-double and the scoring efforts of Kyshawn George (25 points) and Trae Young (18).

Wizards rookie forward AJ Dybantsa had an off-night, scoring just nine points on 4-of-12 shooting.
Of course, the 19-year-old (and No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft) has been very impressive overall, averaging 19.0 points on 50.0 percent shooting in 30 minutes per game over his first three contests leading into Wednesday. Dybantsa also played some catch-up this season after missing the first four games with a left ankle sprain.
As far as the matchup, the storylines can be told from beyond the arc, in the paint and off the bench.
The Hawks made 13 more three-pointers (19-6). Six Hawks hit two or more three-pointers, including Aaron Wiggins, who hit three off the bench en route to his 15 points. Washington only shot 23 percent (6-of-26) from beyond the arc.
Atlanta owned a great rebounding edge (57-41), led by Dyson Daniels' 17 boards. Daniels had seven offensive boards alone, or just two fewer than the entire Wizards team combined. The Hawks finished plus-21 with him on the floor. Onyeka Okongwu added a season-high 16 boards.
Atlanta also scored 52 points off the bench, compared to Washington's 16. Wiggins and CJ McCollum's 15 led the Hawk reserves, but rookie big man Zuby Ejiofor excelled with 11 points in 17 minutes (plus-18).
The 5-4 Hawks and 4-4 Wizards will now complete their home-and-home matchup on Friday at 7 p.m. ET in Atlanta's State Farm Arena.
