Anthony Edwards Holds Auditions for Body Double in Funny New Adidas Video After Injury

The third episode of Adidas' sketch-comedy web series Minnatlantasota featuring Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards dropped on Thursday.

The episode features Edwards looking for a body double in case he had to miss time with injury and potentially fall short of the 65-game minimum needed to be eligible for major end-of-season awards.

Unfortunately, Edwards will miss time after undergoing a successful right knee arthroscopic procedure for debridement. Thankfully, the Wolves announced he is expected to recover fully.

Minnesota has not announced a timetable for his return, but ESPN's Shams Charania reported Tuesday that Edwards may miss up to two months.

When the video was filmed, exactly, is unclear but it almost certainly wasn't anytime after the injury.

Edwards started the year on fire, averaging nearly a point-per-minute (33.3 points in 33.8 minutes per game) over the Timberwolves' first four contests. Minnesota won its first three games by a combined 70 points before dropping a pair of close ones to fall to 3-2.
