Yaxel Lendeborg Asks Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady For Advice in Trending Video

Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg tried to take full advantage of having three Hall of Famers in the same room together.

The first-year forward was interviewed on NBA Showtime following his team's 134-114 win over the Denver Nuggets on Monday. With Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady inside the studio, he asked if they had any advice to offer:

McGrady probably provided the best guidance when he told Lendeborg to pick the brains of teammates Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.

"You've got two great Hall of Fame vets that's very intellectual in the game of basketball, so I would say lean on them as much as possible," T-Mac said. "Every day, just ask questions. You can never ask a dumb question, bro."

While the Warriors are only 1-3 so far, Lendeborg has been a big bright spot. He's averaging 21.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists.

Having played six years of college ball, the first-round pick is on the more experienced side for a rookie, and that's undoubtedly contributing to his strong performance so far.

But Lendeborg understands he still has a lot to learn in the NBA.
