Current rosters for all 31 G League teams ahead of the 2026-27 season can be found here at the G League's official website.

The G League draft has existed since the inception of the G League (originally known as the NBA Development League) in 2001.

Sochan follows in the footsteps of several notable players who went No. 1 overall in the G League draft over the years.

Among the players who made an impact in the NBA either before or after going first overall in the G League draft are Chris Andersen, Jamaal Tinsley, Robert Covington and current Cleveland Cavaliers sharpshooter Sam Merrill.

The G League has become a proven path to the NBA, and Sochan has a chance to get back there with a strong performance for the Legends during the upcoming season after hearing his name called first on Saturday.

G League action is set to begin Nov. 6 when the 2026-27 season officially tips off.
