Knicks Fans Go Viral After Naming Newborn Son Knickson Fyve In Honor of Team's Historic NBA Title

Sports fans naming their children after players on championship-winning teams is nothing new, which means plenty of New York Knicks fans likely considered Jalen after Jalen Brunson or even Karl after Karl-Anthony Towns after the team won the 2026 NBA Finals.

But one family put its own twist on things.

WABC-TV reported one family named their newborn son Knickson Fyve following New York's championship run:

Go ahead, say it slowly.

The new name phonetically sounds like "Knicks in five," which is exactly how many games it took Brunson and Co. to defeat the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals.

And now this family will always remember exactly that.
