Knicks Get NBA Championship Rings, Top Moments, Photos and Videos from Opening Night Ceremony

The New York Knicks are shifting their focus to the 2026-27 campaign, but they got to celebrate their NBA title one last time before beginning their quest to defend it.

Ahead of Tuesday's season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Knicks received their championship rings and raised their banner into the rafters at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks' championship rings are shaped like the iconic Madison Square Garden and feature their logo on the top. Inside, they have a replica of the court and even include the arena's signature ceiling.

Jalen Brunson, the Finals MVP, gave a heartfelt speech to Knicks fans after receiving his ring.

Knicks star Josh Hart celebrated championship night with an epic design in his braids.

The Knicks had an unforgettable run to the NBA championship, beating the Atlanta Hawks in the first round before sweeping the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers.

New York went up against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals, and the series delivered some all-time moments as the Knicks won in five games.

New York now has its rings and a new banner inside MSG, but it's now tasked with defending its first title in 53 years.

Winning a title is never easy, but winning two in a row might be even harder, especially with how things went this offseason.

The Eastern Conference only got stronger as LeBron James and Jaylen Brown teamed up with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey on the Sixers. The Miami Heat added Giannis Antetokounmpo to play alongside Bam Adebayo, and Kawhi Leonard returned to the Toronto Raptors.

If the Knicks can make it out of the East, they could end up facing an elite Western Conference team like the Spurs or Oklahoma City Thunder.

For now, they'll enjoy ring night.
