Tacko Fall Lands 76ers Contract, Latest Details Revealed in New NBA Rumors Ahead of Season Openerย
As NBA teams finalize their rosters with the regular season starting next week, the Philadelphia 76ers are keeping Tacko Fall on a two-way contract.
Per ESPN's Shams Charania, the Sixers are converting Fall's deal to a two-way contract after he originally signed an Exhibit 10 contract in September.
Fall returned to the NBA this summer after spending the past four seasons playing overseas in the Chinese Basketball Association. He spent the 2025-26 campaign with the Ningbo Rockets, averaging 11.2 points and 6.0 rebounds in 38 games.

A hip injury suffered early in training camp prevented Fall from appearing in any of the 76ers' four preseason games.
The Sixers announced on Oct. 1 that Fall was diagnosed with a hip strain and would be reevaluated in two weeks. There has not yet been an official update from the club on his status.
Philadelphia is in need of more center depth going into the regular season. Joel Embiid will start as long as he is healthy. Adem Bona is likely to be the primary backup for head coach Nick Nurse.
Ariel Hukporti, who signed a one-year deal as a free agent this summer, suffered a season-ending injury when he tore his Achilles in a preseason game against the New York Knicks on Oct. 5.
Fall last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season when he appeared in 11 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He played in 37 total games during his original three-season run in the league from 2019 to '22.
A two-way contract allows the 76ers to split Fall's time with the NBA club and their G League affiliate. He also doesn't count against the standard 15-man NBA roster that teams must have finalized by 5 p.m. ET on Monday.
