The start time of the Milwaukee Bucks' matchup with the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 23 has been changed after the Milwaukee Brewers advanced to the World Series.

Tipoff for the clash between Milwaukee and Chicago was moved from 8 p.m. ET to 3 p.m. ET with Game 1 of the Fall Classic occurring on the same day at the Brewers' American Family Field, per Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.

"The Brewers' return to the World Series for the first time in 44 years is a special moment ... the Bucks are proud to move our home opener to 3 p.m. in recognition of this historic occasion and thank the NBA for making this schedule change possible," the Bucks said in a statement, per Reynolds.

The Brewers completed their sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS on Thursday night, clinching their first World Series appearance since 1982.

Milwaukee will face the winner of the ongoing ALCS matchup between the Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays. Cleveland currently holds a 2-1 series lead.

Since the Brewers finished with the best regular-season record in the majors at 103-59, they're guaranteed to host the first two games of the World Series regardless of their opponent.

Milwaukee has looked dominant in the playoffs, posting a 7-1 record with series wins over the Dodgers and San Diego Padres. The Brewers have scored 34 runs across their eight postseason games, tied for the most among all teams.

As for the Bucks, they'll open the 2026-27 regular season against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday before facing the Bulls on Oct. 23.

Milwaukee is coming off a busy offseason in which franchise icon Giannis Antetokounmpo was sent to the Miami Heat in a blockbuster trade on June 22.

The Bucks added several players in the swap including Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Kel'el Ware before selecting Brayden Burries and Nate Ament in the first round of the 2026 NBA draft.

As the Bucks begin to build towards the future, the Brewers are getting ready to contend for their first World Series title.
