Family Recreates OG Anunoby's NBA Finals Tip-In with Knicks Halloween Decorations in Trending Video
A New Jersey resident went viral this week for recreating New York Knicks wing OG Anunoby's iconic NBA Finals tip-in with Halloween decorations.
In Tenafly, New Jersey, a man went into painstaking detail by using skeletons donning Knicks and San Antonio Spurs jerseys to represent arguably the biggest play in Knicks history and one of the biggest in NBA history:
The Knicks trailed by as many as 29 points in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, but they roared all the way back, as Anunoby tipped in a missed Jalen Brunson shot with 1.2 seconds remaining to give New York a 107-106 win and a commanding 3-1 series lead:
They went on to beat the Spurs in Game 5, securing the Knicks' first NBA championship since 1973.
The New Jersey homeowner who made the Halloween version of the play even went so far as to include celebrities such as Timothée Chalamet, Taylor Swift and Spike Lee in the scene.
Plus, he made sure the skeleton representing Spurs center Victory Wembanyama was significantly taller than the rest.
Anunoby's tip-in is a play that is both fresh in the minds of New York sports fans, and will forever live on in New York sports history.
With that in mind, the New Jersey home highlighted in the video figures to be among the most popular houses in the tri-state area among trick-or-treaters and their parents on Halloween night.
