KAT Takes On 'Hot Ones' Challenge, Fields Questions From Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, Fat Joe in Video

Karl-Anthony Towns fielded questions from some of the world's most famous New York Knicks fans in a new episode of Hot Ones.

Towns responded to video questions sent in by Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan and Fat Joe starting around the 8:00 mark of the video below.

Towns was asked by Stiller if, in a world where he could pursue his love of baseball, he would prefer another NBA title or a World Series title.

"Win a World Series, for sure. I already won an NBA championship," Towns said.

When asked by Morgan about his pre-game routine, Towns mentioned that he switches from green gum during warmups to blue gum while coming on the court.

"Before the game starts I always give everyone at the table, including the fans behind, a chance to really get into the game," Towns added. "Just giving everybody a fist bump down the line of the table, and then go on the court."

Fat Joe asked Towns to select his favorite big man between Hakeem Olajuwon and Tim Duncan.

"I think Hakeem. I feel like, in a way, he kind of is mythical, like Wilt Chamberlain... but I've been able to talk and meet Hakeem, and he's an amazing, amazing human," Towns said.

Towns averaged 15.9 points and 10.6 rebounds in 19 playoff games while helping the Knicks secure the 2026 NBA title.

Despite expressing disappointment in the Knicks' recent decision to pause talks involving any potential extensions, Towns is now preparing to rejoin his team for Tuesday's season-opening home game against LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers.
