The first half largely belonged to the Lakers, as they entered the break with a 13-point lead on the strength of outscoring the Dubs 34-21 in the second quarter.
Reaves, who scored a game-high 28 points for the Lakers, was paramount in Los Angeles jumping out to that early lead, as he racked up buckets and assists throughout the first half, including some hookups with the team's big acquisition if the offseason in Kessler:
Curry, Lendeborg and Podziemski all played big roles in the Warriors staying in it and ultimately taking control in the second half, though.
Steph appeared to be in midseason form with regard to his three-point shooting stroke, while Lendeborg did a little bit of everything, including saving a ball from going out of bounds and dishing it to Podziemski for the triple:
During the second half, the Warriors cut the deficit to four by outscoring the Lakers 22-13 in the third quarter, and then they put it away in the fourth by outscoring L.A. 29-13.
Of course, both teams gave significant playing time to players who may not see the court so much during the regular season, so the result should perhaps be taken with a grain of salt.
Lendeborg was arguably the biggest bright spot in the game, as the rookie No. 11 overall draft pick filled up the stat sheet and tied for the Warriors' team lead with 17 points.
Notable for the Lakers in a less positive way was the performance of Bronny James, who is embarking on his first NBA season away from his legendary dad, LeBron James, who signed with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Playing 11 minutes, Bronny missed both of his shot attempts, turned the ball over four times and was a game-worst minus-18 when he was on the court.
Both the Warriors and Lakers will play their final preseason games Friday with Golden State facing the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles facing the Denver Nuggets.
Then, the Warriors and Lakers will clash in their regular-season opener on Oct. 21.
