Washington Wizards point guard Trae Young and Detroit Pistons guard Daniss Jenkins were both ejected during a preseason clash between the two teams on Saturday night.

Following a dunk by Pistons forward Ron Holland in the third quarter, Jenkins bumped into Young multiple times while running up the floor. The two players eventually exchanged words as they were separated by their teammates, getting ejected after they both received double technical fouls.

The Wizards led 62-60 at the time of the altercation.

Young finished the game with two points, two rebounds and eight assists in 23 minutes on the floor. He shot 1-of-4 from the field and missed both of his three-point attempts.

Jenkins scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting, including 3-of-5 from behind the arc. He also dished out four assists compared to one turnover.

The 25-year-old is entering his third year with the Pistons after blossoming into a key bench piece for Detroit last season, averaging 9.3 points and 3.9 assists in 20.2 minutes per game.

As for Young, he's preparing to start his first full season in Washington after the team acquired him in a Jan. 7 trade with the Atlanta Hawks.

The four-time All-Star only appeared in 15 total games last season due to injuries, but it's worth noting that he previously picked up 13 technical fouls during his 2024-25 campaign.

The first matchup between the Pistons and Wizards during the 2026-27 regular season will take place on Nov. 9.
