Deion Sanders Addresses Nuggets in Video at Training Camp Ahead of 2026-27 NBA Season

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders addressed the Denver Nuggets during training camp as the team prepared for the 2026-27 NBA season on Thursday.

Nuggets head coach David Adelman told reporters that Sanders' message to the team was "good."

The Nuggets are holding their 2026 training camp at the Buffaloes' basketball facilities.

Denver wrapped up a 2025-26 campaign in which the team finished with a 54-28 record, but fell to Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs. It represented the Nuggets' earliest postseason exit since 2022.

It's worth noting that Denver was hit hard by injuries last season and will look to remain a contender in the Western Conference this year led by Nikola Jokić.

The Nuggets didn't make any blockbuster moves during the 2026 offseason, but they brought in veteran DeMar DeRozan on a one-year deal to give them additional offensive firepower.

They also signed forward Marvin Bagley III to a one-year contract.

Meanwhile, Sanders' team sits at 2-2 to open the 2026 college football season. The Buffaloes are currently gearing up for a matchup with No. 12 Texas Tech on Saturday.
