Mavs' Cooper Flagg Responds to 'Height Truthers' in New Video After Revealing New Measurement

Dallas Mavericks second-year star Cooper Flagg isn't backing down from detractors who question his height.

After being asked Wednesday about the "height truthers" who claimed his media day photos don't back up his claim of being 6'10" without shoes, Flagg told reporters that he's now even taller than that.

"Yeah, I think I've actually grown another quarter of an inch since then, so I'll say I'm about 6'10" and a half now with no shoes," Flagg said with a wry smile.

While Flagg's height may be in question, it's safe to say that he's bulked up for his sophomore campaign in the NBA. After entering his rookie training camp at 205 pounds, he weighed in at 228 pounds earlier this week.

The 2026 Rookie of the Year could be on the verge of reaching the next level of superstardom during the 2026-27 season.
