'NBA The Run' Drops 2000s Legends Gameplay Trailer Featuring Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, More

As the anticipation for the start of the 2026-27 NBA season ramps up with training camps kicking off next week, NBA The Run is helping to whet fan appetite with new DLC content.

Play by Play Studios dropped the 2000s Legends gameplay trailer featuring Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter and Dirk Nowitzki.

The 2000s Legends pack will be available on Sept. 29. All five legendary stars will be available to purchase in a DLC pack for $9.99, or they can be individually unlocked using the in-game currency for 5,000 CRED each.

Play by Play originally announced the Legends pack on Sept. 10, calling it the "largest game update" since NBA The Run released on June 9. The group featuring Iverson, Garnett, McGrady, Carter and Nowitzki is the first wave of 2000s legends expected to be added.

NBA The Run is a three-on-three street basketball simulation available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
