Anthony Edwards Pitches Paul Rudd on Role in Next 'Ant-Man' Movie in New Video
One Ant-Man gave a gift to another on Friday as Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony "Ant-Man" Edwards received a Marvel Studios chrome card signed by actor Paul Rudd, who plays Ant-Man on screen.
Edwards was appreciative and also asked Rudd if he could sneak into the next Ant-Man movie.
While Rudd is set to appear as Ant-Man in Avengers: Doomsday, which will be released on Dec. 18, Marvel Studios hasn't announced plans for a fourth Ant-Man movie (three solo Ant-Man films were released in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from 2015-2023).
Still, if those plans change, Edwards could be a good fit. He did a great job in his acting debut as start NBA draft prospect Kermit Wilts in the 2022 movie Hustle, starring Adam Sandler.
For now, though, Edwards has a prized possession from the other Ant-Man as he gets ready for the 2026-27 NBA season.
