Lakers' Kevon Looney, Mariah Simone Winston Get Married and New Photos Released from Wedding

Los Angeles Lakers forward Kevon Looney and fitness model Mariah Simone Winston were married in Santa Barbara, California, in July.

The couple shared photos of the event in a recent piece for Essence.

Winston told interviewer Elizabeth Ayoola the wedding's theme was "timeless, classic, and effortlessly luxurious."

"We chose soft pastels, elegant bow ties, and romantic details to create the feeling of stepping into a modern-day fairytale," she said. "The ceremony felt dreamy and enchanting, while the reception transitioned into a chic, modern celebration that still carried the same sense of timeless elegance. Every element from the grandest moments to the smallest details, all the way down to the napkins, were chosen with intention. We wanted our guests to feel completely transported and surrounded by beauty, romance, and magic."

The couple is enjoying what's left of Looney's offseason.

Training camps will open on Sept. 29, and the Lakers' first regular-season game is on Oct. 21 against the Golden State Warriors, pitting Looney against the team for whom he spent 10 years.
