J. Cole Hypes Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, Wolves in Video at Minnesota Concert

Minnesota Timberwolves stars Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball received a shoutout from J. Cole during his concert at the Target Center on Tuesday night.

The rapper called the Timberwolves' new backcourt a "f--king problem."

Minnesota added Ball as part of a blockbuster trade with the Charlotte Hornets earlier this offseason. The Timberwolves sent Naz Reid, a 2033 first-round draft pick, three second-round picks and three first-round pick swaps to Charlotte in exchange for Ball and Josh Green.

It isn't a major surprise that Cole is excited about Minnesota's potential, as the North Carolina native is a noted Hornets fan and became part of the team's ownership group in 2023.

Now, he's looking forward to watching Ball and Edwards share the floor during the 2026-27 season.
