Paul George Reacts to Celtics Trade in Behind-The-Scenes Video, Brad Stevens Talks Jaylen Brown Deal

It's been a big offseason for the Boston Celtics, who traded Jaylen Brown for Paul George in one of the more surprising moves of the summer.

The Celtics gave fans an inside look into their facilities, and president of basketball operations Brad Stevens discussed the emotions of having to trade a player like Brown.

"There's a lot pulling at you, right? There's the emotions of a person that's been here for a long time," Stevens said (3-minute mark). "It's something that you have to just say, 'Do you think where we currently are and doing what we've done will get us to where we want to ultimately go?' If not, does it make sense to explore other pathways, even if that could be very tough in the near-term?"

Stevens said last month that the decision to move Brown was financially driven, but that certainly doesn't make it any easier to part ways with a former Finals MVP.

The trade meant that George would be moving on to the fifth team of his career, but he said he's excited about the new opportunity.

"It's surreal. I'm ecstatic, man," George said (5-minute mark). "I'm looking forward to the journey. I'm looking forward to wearing that green and representing for Boston."

George may be 36 years old, but he'll look to make an impact for the Celtics as they try to compete in a competitive Eastern Conference.
