Derek Stingley Jr., De'Von Achane Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

After putting together a career year, Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane is a member of the NFL Top 100 club for the first time.

Achane made a massive jump, going from unranked to No. 26 ahead of the 2026 season.

Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. went in the opposite direction, falling slightly from 18th to 25th.

Going back to his college days at Texas A&M, Achane has been a favorite of the ball-knowers who watched his tape and were familiar with his game. The excitement grew when he averaged 7.8 yards per carry as a rookie in 2023.

It wasn't until 2025 that the dynamic back finally put it all together over a full season.

Achane ran for 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns while catching 67 passes for 488 yards and four scores. His 1,838 yards from scrimmage were sixth in the league.

One defensive coach called Achane "an explosive play waiting to happen" and an "elite receiver" as part of the annual positional rankings from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

The Dolphins offense is going to look a lot different after the organization hit the reset button. Miami has a new coaching staff in charge, and gone are one-time franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and leading receiver Jaylen Waddle.

Miami projects as one of the NFL's worst teams given all of the turnover. Achane should be a bright spot in what's likely to be a rebuilding campaign.
