That should be an exciting matchup given that both the Heat and the Celtics figure to be contenders in the East, but it's also notable given how things transpired this offseason.
Boston was one of the final teams in the trade race for Antetokounmpo before the Milwaukee Bucks agreed to send him to Miami. That will surely be on the Celtics' mind when they go up against the Heat.
The full slate for Christmas Day was revealed on Tuesday. In addition to the Heat vs. Celtics matchup, the Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Philadelphia 76ers, the San Antonio Spurs will face the New York Knicks, the Oklahoma City Thunder will play the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets will match up with the Warriors.
