Ja Morant Posts Hype Video After Blazers Trade, Tells Fans to 'Call Ja'

Ja Morant is ready for fans to get excited about his upcoming Portland Trail Blazers debut.

Morant shared a Blazers hype video Tuesday of a ringing phone announcing his trade from the Memphis Grizzlies.

The video ends with Morant saying, "Rip City, you called?"

The promotion features a hotline on which fans can leave Morant voicemails, according to the Blazers.

The Blazers acquired Morant in June in a trade that sent Jerami Grant and Kris Murray to the Grizzlies.

Portland is now hoping a bounce-back season from Morant and the return of Damian Lillard, who missed last season amid his recovery from an Achilles injury, can lead the Blazers on a deeper postseason run next spring.
