NBA 2K27 Drops 1st Gameplay Trailer in New Video, Showcases LeBron on 76ers, Caitlin Clark, More

Ahead of the release of NBA 2K27 later this summer, fans and gamers got their first taste of what to expect on Tuesday after the official gameplay trailer dropped.

The trailer features LeBron James as a Philadelphia 76er doing his iconic pregame chalk ritual, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark in her signature Caitlin 1 Nike shoes, Giannis Antetokounmpo suited up for the Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves guards LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards on the court together and much more.

NBA 2K27 will release worldwide on Sept. 4, with Early Access available on Aug. 28. Clark is one of the cover stars alongside San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama and former Chicago Bulls legend Derrick Rose. Clark recently spoke to B/R about sharing the spotlight with Rose and Wembanyama.

"It's definitely really cool. I actually remember Derrick Rose was one of the first-ever NBA players I met. I was in the seventh grade at a basketball tournament in L.A., and we ran into him on the street. So it's kind of a surreal moment that I get to share the cover with him," she said. "And obviously Wemby, he's one of my favorite young players in the NBA right now, and becoming this global superstar. So it's really cool for me to be alongside both of them. It's not something I take lightly; it's really cool and a big honor."
