LeBron Honored by Historic Pat's King Of Steaks with 'New Way to Order' Iconic Cheesesteak in Philly
If you've ever been to Philadelphia's most famous cheesesteak spot, Pat's King of Steaks, you know that the ordering process is pretty stringent.
If you want a cheesesteak with Cheez Whiz and onions, the standard order, you say Whiz Wit. No onions? Whiz without. It's efficient, and if you don't play by the rules you'll be side-eyed by a grumpy cashier.
But the famous cheesesteak joint announced a new way of ordering its standard sandwich in honor of LeBron James signing with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Per the restaurant's Instagram account: "The King of Basketball meets the King of Steaks. Around here, that means Whiz Wit. Now, there's a new way to order the original. Step up to the Pat's window and ask for The King's Way and we'll know you want the classic Whiz Wit."
Not just anybody would get a Philadelphia institutionโone that has been around since 1930 and is often credited with inventing the cheesesteakโto change its ordering process. But LeBron isn't just anybody.
