Jonquel Jones Makes History as 2026 WNBA All-Star Game MVP, Box Score Stats & Highlights

New York Liberty star Jonquel Jones has been named MVP of the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.

Jones scored a double-double to help lead Team Spoon to a 129-122 victory over Paige Bueckers and Team Coop Saturday night in Chicago.

Jones shot 8-for-17 from the field and 4-for-11 from deep in the All-Star victory.

She said after receiving the trophy she was dedicating the award to her late aunt.

A six-time All-Star, Jones is now the first player in WNBA history to record double-doubles in four All-Star Games.

Jones is also the first player to claim all four of the WNBA's MVP awards.

She was previously named the WNBA's regular-season MVP during her 2021 season with the Connecticut Sun. As a member of the Liberty, she took home the Commissioner's Cup MVP in 2023 and WNBA Finals MVP in 2024.

Jones was averaging 14.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in her fourth season with the Liberty heading into the All-Star break.

Her dominant performance in the All-Star Game helped Team Spoon hold onto their lead for the entirety of the second half in front of an All-Star record crowd of 19,783 fans at United Center.

Olivia Miles posted 11 points and 12 rebounds in Team Spoon's victory. Allisha Gray added 19 points while Caitlin Clark contributed 17 points, four rebounds and five assists.

Kelsey Mitchell led Team Coop in the loss with 28 points as Bueckers contributed 12 points and seven assists. Marina Mabrey added 23 points and Dominique Malonga contributed 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Malonga, 20, is now the youngest player in WNBA history to record an All-Star Game double-double, per ESPN Insights.
