Jaylen Brown Live Streams Workout from Egypt After LeBron Joins 76ers in Trending Videos
Jaylen Brown recently completed an offseason workout in Egypt as he prepares to team up with LeBron James on the Philadelphia 76ers.
Brown streamed the session—which featured shooting coach Chris Matthews, also known as Lethal Shooter—on Twitch.
The 76ers are in the midst of a busy offseason, initially acquiring Brown in a trade with the Boston Celtics on July 1. Philadelphia sent Paul George, two first-round draft picks and two second-round picks to Boston in exchange for the five-time All-Star.
On Friday, James agreed to sign a two-year contract worth $8 million with the 76ers.
Philadelphia also made several depth additions in free agency, signing guard Anfernee Simons, forward Dean Wade and center Ariel Hukporti.
As the 76ers attempt to go on a deeper playoff run following their second-round appearance last season, Brown is expected to play a key role in their 2026-27 campaign.
The 2024 Finals MVP is coming off an impressive year with the Celtics, stepping up as their leading scorer while Jayson Tatum recovered from a torn Achilles.
Brown helped Boston finish with a 56-26 record, ranking No. 2 among all teams with a 120.0 offensive rating (via NBA.com).
He averaged a career-high 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 34.7 percent from three-point territory.
