LeBron James Rumors Discussed by Bronny in Trending Video Amid Warriors Buzz in NBA Free Agency

Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James was recently asked if his father, LeBron, will join the Golden State Warriors in free agency.

"Man, I don't know where he going but that'd be crazy if he did," Bronny said (0:13 mark).

The Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat are among the teams that have reportedly continued to pursue LeBron after he informed the Lakers that he would be playing elsewhere next season.

Golden State is an intriguing potential landing spot for the four-time MVP, presenting him with an opportunity to play alongside Stephen Curry after they faced off in the NBA Finals across four straight seasons from 2015-18.

LeBron would also be joining a frontcourt rotation that includes Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler.

Still, ESPN's Anthony Slater revealed that the Warriors were "pessimistic" about their chances of signing James on Wednesday.

"Really since the beginning, they've just not thought they're at the top of the list," Slater reported on NBA Today. "I talked to somebody last night that said basically that they've been given no sign or hint that it's gonna happen."

While LeBron will be turning 42 years old next season, he remained an important contributor for Los Angeles throughout his 2025-26 campaign and should continue to operate in a large role moving forward.

He averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists, 6.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 51.5 percent from the field in 60 appearances.
