NBA's Royce O'Neale, Actress Paige Hurd Get Married in NY Castle Wedding

Charlotte Hornets forward Royce O'Neale and actress Paige Hurd got married last Saturday at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York in front of 221 guests, per an exclusive from Hannah Sacks of People Magazine.

Guests included actor Jonathan Majors, actresses Meagan Good and Coco Jones, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell and New York Knicks guard Jordan Clarkson, per Sacks.

O'Neale, a 6'6" forward who performed well as a 3-and-D wing, has played nine NBA seasons for the Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns. He's carved out an impressive career after going undrafted out of Baylor in 2015. O'Neale played overseas in Germany and then Spain before making his NBA debut with Utah in 2017.

Last season, O'Neale averaged 9.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game for the Suns, who had signed him to a four-year, $44 million deal in 2024.

Last June, Phoenix traded O'Neale to the Charlotte Hornets in a three-player, multi-pick deal. O'Neale should have an important role on the new-look Hornets squad.

Hurd has had numerous recurring roles on television over a well- accomplished two-decade career on screen.

She played Tasha Clarkson in Everybody Hates Chris, Samantha Grover in Hawaii Five-0, Gayle Franklin in The Oval and Lauren Baldwin in Power Book II: Ghost. In addition, she's made appearances on Felicity, George Lopez, Boomtown and ER (among other shows) and had roles in numerous films, including Cradle 2 the Grave and The Cat in the Hat.

Hurd's godfather is the late rap legend DMX. Per Sacks, she walked down the aisle to a special version of one of DMX's most famous tracks.

"Escorted by her father, Charlie, Hurd walked to a song she commissioned for the day. The piece was a bespoke string arrangement of "X Gon' Give It to Ya" by her late godfather, DMX, combined with the traditional "Wedding March." A live string ensemble performed the song, while a gospel choir sang along.
