Warriors Win 2026 NBA Summer League Championship, Boozer, Yaxel, Top Stars' Box Score Stats
The Golden State Warriors captured the 2026 NBA Summer League Championship with a 94-90 victory over Cam Boozer and the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, powered by Summer League MVP Yaxel Lendeborg's 21-point performance.
Finishing Summer League with a 5-1 record, the Warriors were led on Sunday by standout performances from Lendeborg and Deivon Smith, who combined for 42 points. LJ Cryer also continued his strong Summer League campaign, adding 15 points in the championship victory.
The championship marked Golden State's second NBA Summer League title after winning the inaugural Summer League championship in 2013 behind Ian Clark.

The No. 3 overall pick Boozer, put together an exciting Summer League campaign despite the championship-game loss.
Boozer capped off his impressive showing on Sunday with 19 points, continuing to showcase the scoring ability and versatility that made him one of the top prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Ahead of halftime, Coward nailed a three-pointer to tie the game at 47-47. Coward led the Grizzlies with 11 points, while Boozer added seven at the break. Golden State's Cryer also scored 11 first-half points, and Smith dished out three assists.
The Grizzlies pulled away in the third quarter, building a 10-point lead behind a nine-point period from Boozer.
A 28-14 fourth quarter in favor of Golden State erased Memphis' advantage as the Warriors used a series of runs while holding the Grizzlies to a difficult offensive stretch. Golden State kept its composure to hold on to its lead late and capture the NBA Summer League Championship.
Yaxel Lendeborg

The No. 11 overall pick out of Michigan, Lendeborg capped off an impressive Summer League by shooting 50 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from 3-point range.
The 6-foot-9 forward led the Warriors to the championship with a dominant double-double, finishing with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
His performance exceeded his Summer League averages of 13.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, providing Golden State with a standout effort on the biggest stage to earn the 2026 NBA Summer League Championship Game MVP.
Cam Boozer

Ahead of Sunday's championship matchup, Boozer was averaging 18.4 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game during Summer League.
In the title game, the former Duke standout finished with 19 points while shooting 41 percent from the field, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc.
Boozer also grabbed eight rebounds, narrowly missing a double-double, and added two steals in another well-rounded performance despite the loss.
LJ Cryer

After going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft, Cryer appeared in 18 games for the Warriors last season, averaging 8.2 points in 16.2 minutes per game. He carried that momentum into Summer League, averaging 15.0 points per game entering Sunday's championship matchup.
Cryer capped off his impressive Summer League run with exactly that, 15 points, adding six assists, playing a key role in Golden State's championship victory.
The 2026-27 NBA preseason will tip off on Oct. 9 with the NBA China Games, marking the league's first preseason contests ahead of the new campaign.
