Dak Prescott Discusses Cowboys' Super Bowl Aspirations in Video After Disappointing 2025 NFL Season
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is looking to contend for a Super Bowl title ahead of the 2026 season.
"Shoot yeah, it's what's left for me," Prescott told reporters Friday. "That's always been my mindset. It's the one thing I truly love about the Cowboys organization and the fanbase is it's that or nothing. As I said wherever that was, that's what being a competitor is. If that's not how you're wired, if that's not how you think, whether you're a fan, whether you're a player, whether you're a coach, then I think you're in the wrong business and honestly I don't want you on my team. I love those expectations and they'll always be there."

Expectations for 2nd-Year NFL QBs 🧐
The Cowboys are coming off a 2025 campaign in which they finished with a 7-9-1 record, missing the playoffs for the second straight season.
Prescott was a bright spot for Dallas last year, completing 67.3 percent of his throws for 4,552 yards and 30 touchdowns compared to 10 interceptions. His 70.2 QBR ranked No. 5 among 28 qualified quarterbacks during the regular season, via ESPN.
The Cowboys will be looking to take a step forward defensively in 2026 after they owned the NFL's worst scoring defense last year, giving up 30.1 points per game.
Dallas made multiple additions to its defense this offseason, signing safety Jalen Thompson in free agency and acquiring pass-rusher Rashan Gary in a trade with the Green Bay Packers.
The Cowboys also selected Ohio State safety Caleb Downs with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
As Dallas looks to return to the NFC postseason picture, Prescott has his sights set on the Lombardi Trophy.
