Fantasy Football 2026 Sleepers to Target and Possible Team Names for Your Squad

There's just one preseason game standing between the offseason and the start of the 2026–27 NFL season. And as Labor Day approaches, so too do most fantasy drafts. 

Whether you're a fantasy expert or dipping your toe into the waters, you likely know which players are regarded at the top of their respective positions. But fantasy seasons aren't won on the starters you select in the first three rounds. Injuries happen, bye weeks happen, and suddenly your bench becomes your secret weapon in winning your league. 

We'll break down sleeper targets at each of the Flex positions (running back, wide receiver and tight end). These aren't deep sleepers; you'll know many of these names. But they're players who, if deployed correctly, could end up saving your season. 

Rankings are courtesy of FantasyPros and use half PPR scoring. FantasyPros defines a sleeper as a player who has "a strong chance to exceed expectations to become surprise difference-makers for fantasy managers."
