NBA Summer League Box Score Stats, Highlights for Darryn Peterson, Acuff Jr. & Top Stars from Day 7

The NBA Summer League continued in Las Vegas on Wednesday with eight games. Here's a rundown of the scores, notable stats, recaps and highlights.

The Minnesota Timberwolves scored 35 first quarter points en route to a 114-98 victory.

Timberwolves guard Zyon Pullin led all scorers with 23 points. He shot 6-of-12 from the field and made all seven of his free throws. Minnesota wing Isaiah Evans, the 33rd overall pick in the draft, scored 22 points. He had an off-night from three (4-of-15) but went 5-of-7 from two. Minnesota shot 50 percent of the field as a team.

Jalen Slawson guided Indiana with 20 points and nine rebounds.

Home state hero, former Purdue star and 2026 second-round pick Braden Smith stuffed the stat sheet with eight points, eight assists and six rebounds.

Jase Richardson, the No. 25 overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft, scored 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting to lead the Magic to a 99-92 win. Richardson also added four assists and three steals.

All five Orlando starters scored in double digits. They helped the Magic shoot 56 percent from the field and 12-of-24 from the three-point line.

Orlando jumped out to a resounding 65-37 halftime lead, but Philadelphia took control in the second half, outscoring the Magic 55-34.

For the 76ers, Amani Lyles' 18 points led the way.

Three other players—Labaron Philon Jr., Dante Maddox Jr. and Duke Miles—scored 15 points.

Philon, a former Alabama star and No. 22 overall pick, struggled shooting, making 7-of-24 field goals and 1-of-13 three-pointers. However, Philon contributed elsewhere in his 35 minutes with six rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Malaki Branham scored 23 points to lead all scorers and propel the Cleveland Cavaliers to an 82-77 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

This was a defensive slugfest for the most part. Neither team got much going on offense after three quarters, with the Cavs beating the Pels 52-50 at that point.

However, the two teams combined for 58 fourth quarter points. Cleveland led by as many as 13 points in the final quarter but saw its lead slashed to three on multiple occasions. The Cavs held on, though, for the win.

Former Kansas State and 2023 NCAA tournament star Markquis Nowell led the Pels with 20 points.

Suns 100, Pistons 88

Big man Khaman Maluach, the No. 10 overall pick in the NBA draft, dominated this game with 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting and 15 rebounds (six offensive) in 28 minutes to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 100-88 win. He has now posted four straight doubles in summer league play.

Forward Koa Peat, the No. 30 overall choice in this year's draft, added 19 points. The Suns outscored the Pistons by 16 points with him on the floor.

Suns forward Rasheer Fleming scored 22 points (4-of-6 from three) and grabbed eight rebounds. Darius Brown II did a little of everything (nine points, eight rebounds, six assists).

Four Pistons combined for 73 of their points: Brice Williams (24), Isaac Jones (18), Ebuka Ozorie (16) and Chaz Lanier (15).

Bucks 110, Hornets 91

Nate Ament, the No. 13 overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft, dropped a team-high 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting in just 25 minutes to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to their first summer league win.

The other four Buck starters—Bogoljub Markovic, Pete Nance, Kam Jones and Brandon Boston Jr.—scored 11 points apiece.

Milwaukee opened up a 53-37 halftime lead and never looked back thanks in part to 19 made three-pointers.

Hornets big man Hannes Steinbach, the No. 14 overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft, led all scorers with 27 points and 15 rebounds. Tidjane Salaun, the 2024 draft's sixth pick, added 21 points and four steals. Christian Anderson, this year's No. 18 pick, didn't let an off-night scoring (three points, 1-of-8 shooting) prevent him from dishing 10 assists.

This was Hugo Gonzalez's night as the 20-year-old guard, who impressed in his rookie season last year, dropped a 24-point, 10-rebound, five-assist game.

John Tonje and Milos Uzan impressed with 18 and 13 points, apiece, respectively, while Chris Cenac Jr. added a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double.

Despite their best efforts, the Kings could not overcome a four-point first quarter. They were only down 13-4 as Boston endured its own offensive struggles, but the C's kept the Kings at bay.

Sacramento guard Darius Acuff Jr., the sixth overall pick, did not play due to rest. However, former UConn star Alex Karaban, the No. 29 pick in the 2026 draft, led Sacramento with 21 points, making 5-of-7 threes along the way. He also added eight rebounds.

Ja'Kobi Gillespie scored 25 points and Hyunjung Lee added 22 points in 22 minutes off the bench to guide the San Antonio Spurs to a 94-82 win. RJ Davis added a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double.

Darryn Peterson, the No. 2 pick in the NBA draft, had a tough shooting day, making just 4-of-16 field goals. He did score 15 points though. Utah as a whole struggled shooting, making 37 percent of field goals and 21 percent of threes.

Kobe Sanders scored 26 points to lead all scorers and guide the Los Angeles Clippers to a 108-94 win.

L.A. used a 30-19 third quarter advantage to ultimately pull away and win this matchup, which featured the Clippers shooting 40 percent from three and amassing 10 steals. Nick Martinelli also scored 19 points in 26 minutes while Sean Pedulla added a 16-point, 11-assist double-double.

Seth Trimble, who starred for UNC last year, led the Wizards with 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting.

The Wizards did not have top overall draft pick AJ Dybantsa, who was shut down for the rest of summer league after two games for precautionary reasons. Clippers guard Keaton Wagler, the No. 5 overall choice in the NBA draft, was out due to rest.
