
Trey Alexander Leaves Jazz's NBA Summer League Game on Stretcher After Injury vs. Bulls
Utah Jazz guard Trey Alexander had to be stretchered off the court during Monday's Summer League game against the Chicago Bulls.
Per ESPN.com, Alexander was injured late in the fourth quarter when he made contact with Caleb Wilson on a drive to the basket and began clutching his at his left side before going to the ground in pain.
Medical personnel loaded Alexander on a stretcher and into the locker room area.
The Jazz have not yet provided an update on Alexander's injury or status going forward.
Head coach Steve Wojciechowski only said that Alexander was being treated by the medical staff after the game.
Alexander played 24 minutes off the bench against the Bulls. He scored two points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out three assists and had six steals.
An undrafted free agent out of Creighton in 2024, Alexander started his NBA career with the Denver Nuggets as part of their Summer League squad and played in the G League during the 2024-25 campaign.
The New Orleans Pelicans signed Alexander to a two-way deal last offseason. He averaged 23.9 points, 7.8 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game in 26 appearances with the Birmingham Squadron in the G League during the 2025-26 season.
Alexander signed a two-way contract with the Jazz on July 7. He put up a combined 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in his first two Summer League games entering Monday night.
Utah will wrap up the Vegas Summer League regular season on Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs.
