Lamar Jackson, Xavier McKinney Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

Joseph ZuckerJul 13, 2026

Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson experienced quite the fall in NFL Network's ranking of the Top 100 players.

The veteran quarterback was No. 2 in 2025 and tumbled to 69th heading into the 2026 season.

Green Bay Packers safety Xavier McKinney cracked the list for the second year in a row as well and came in at No. 70.

Here's the full list so far:

69. Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

Jackson had a down year by his usual standards. Along with missing four games, his 196.1 passing yards per contest were his fewest since 2022. He was also sacked 36 times, the second-most in his career.

Having once thrived under offensive coordinator Todd Monken, a disconnect seemed to grow between the two.

The Ravens not only have somebody else leading the offense (Declan Doyle) but also a new head coach (Jesse Minter) for the first time since 2008.

With Jackson turning 29, Baltimore clearly felt a level of urgency. It can't keep falling short of a Super Bowl while it has an elite quarterback still in his prime.

Jackson's descent in the Top 100 wasn't unfair. He could immediately shoot back up the rankings in 2027 if he stays healthy and returns to form in a new offensive scheme.

McKinney was an All-Pro and a Pro Bowler in his first season with the Packers. He made the New York Giants look foolish for letting him walk out the door as a free agent.

The 27-year-old didn't quite perform as well in 2025. He finished with 107 combined tackles and two interceptions, the latter representing a noticeable drop after he had eight picks in 2024.

McKinney remained a stingy pass defender, though. According to Pro Football Reference, he allowed opposing quarterbacks to complete just 57.5 percent of their throws when looking his way, and they had a 69.2 passer rating.

McKinney is signed through 2027, and his salary cap hit soars to $24.8 million that year. For some context, the Baltimore Ravens' Kyle Hamilton and Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Antoine Winfield Jr. are the only safeties with a higher cap number.

He's a prime candidate to eventually get another contract restructure or a short extension that raises his pay.
