Anthony Davis, Trae Young Attend AJ Dybantsa's Wizards Summer League Debut in Video, Photo

AJ Dybansta's Summer League debut figured to be appointment viewing.

His most notable teammates certainly thought so.

With the No. 1 overall pick of the 2026 NBA draft in action for the first time Thursday, Anthony Davis and Trae Young were among those in attendance. They weren't the only ones, as Wizards governor Ted Leonsis, general manager Will Dawkins and coach Brian Keefe were there as well:

In terms of Summer League games, it doesn't get much bigger than Thursday's contest.

Dybantsa's debut alone would have been a major story, but the Wizards also faced the Utah Jazz and No. 2 overall pick Darryn Peterson. While they will ultimately be judged against each other based on how they do in the regular season and playoffs, it was still another key storyline with plenty of star power in attendance.
