Nikola Vucevic Jokes About Fan Reaction to Celtics' 'Thank You' Post After Struggles in Boston

Nikola Vučević's time with the Boston Celtics is over, and he didn't exactly get a warm goodbye from fans.

The center joked that the Celtics' farewell post for him led to some harsh comments from fans.

"Thank you for posting this but all it did is set me up for the lovely replies," he wrote on social media.

Vučević's time in Boston wasn't all that memorable, considering he played just 16 games after being traded by the Chicago Bulls at the deadline, putting up 9.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game off the bench.

Considering he wasn't a huge part of the rotation, it wasn't surprising that he didn't re-sign with Boston this offseason. Instead, he signed with the Orlando Magic, where he previously had some of the best seasons of his career.

Vučević perhaps wasn't a fan favorite in Boston given the replies to the Celtics' post, but at least he is able to have a sense of humor about it.
