BIG3 co-founder and music legend Ice Cube invited brothers LaMelo Ball, Lonzo Ball and LiAngelo Ball to compete in the 3-on-3 league's All-Star challenge.
"This summer, we got a challenge," Ice Cube said in a video posted on X. "We've got a challenge to the Ball brothers. We want all three of y'all in Charlotte for our championship game. We talking August 22nd, Charlotte. We challenged the Ball brothers, 3-on-3 BIG3 style, against our All-Stars. Let's see what's up, man. I'll see you in Charlotte if you want some of this."

The BIG3 league features plenty of former NBA talent, as its 2025 All-Stars included players with experience in the association such as Dwight Howard, Greg Monroe, Jordan Crawford, Corey Brewer and Jonathan Simmons.
As for the Ball brothers, LaMelo is currently gearing up for his first season as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves after the All-Star point guard was traded from the Charlotte Hornets on June 25.
Lonzo is currently a free agent after appearing in 35 contests with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, averaging 4.6 points and 4.0 rebounds to go along with 3.9 assists per game.
Meanwhile, LiAngelo is pursuing a music career after playing for the NBA G League's Greensboro Swarm from 2021-23.
The three brothers have plenty of experience sharing the court, as they led Chino Hills High School to a perfect 35-0 record and a CIF Open Division state championship during the 2015-16 season.
