Atlanta got strong performances from both of its first-round draft picks, Kingston Flemmings and Zuby Ejiofor. While those two have their work cut out for them in finding a spot in the rotation, they appeared to have a connection in their second Summer League game together.

The Hawks trailed big heading into the second half, but a 15-3 run got them back into and they ultimately took the lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma City didn't go away, though, thanks to a strong night from Payton Standfort, who went undrafted out of Iowa last summer.

Had Standfort gotten a bit more help, OKC could've avoided dropping to 0-2 in Summer League.

Lakers' first-round pick Cameron Carr looked promising in his first two Summer League games when he dropped 16 and 25 in back-to-back contests, but he didn't get the chance to put up big numbers on Monday.

He was benched for the entire second half, likely a decision made by the Lakers to ensure he avoids injury.

It paved the way for a big performance from Chris Mañon, who joined the Lakers last offseason after going undrafted.

On the Spurs' side, second-round pick Ja'Kobi Gillespie led the way as he looks to prove he's capable of handling himself in the NBA. RJ Davis, who spent last season with the Lakers' G League squad, also put together a nice performance in the loss.

The Lakers improved to 2-1 with the win, while the Spurs dropped to 0-3 in Summer League.

The Nets cruised to their second Summer League win behind a great showing from second-year guard Egor Demin, who opted to return to Summer League as he tries to make a second-year jump.

No. 6 overall pick Mikel Brown Jr. also had a strong debut with 10 points and four assists.

The Nets improved to 2-1 with the win, while Warriors Blue dropped its third consecutive game.

In a battle between the No. 2 and No. 3 picks, the No. 2 pick came out on top.

Darryn Peterson had another tremendous Summer League showing after posting 28 points in his debut last week, proving once again why the Jazz thought so highly of him.

But Memphis Cam Boozer also came to play after collecting 15 points in his debut. The Duke product had a few rookie mistakes but overall looked promising in his second Summer League game.

It's safe to say Peterson and Boozer will be able to hold their own at the NBA level.

Yaxel Lendeborg wasn't in the lineup for the Warriors on Monday, and his absence was felt in a blowout loss. He had 19 points in his debut, but Golden State opted to give him some rest against the Heat.

Ryan Conwell was a second-round pick, but he looked more like a first-round pick in his tremendous outing. The Heat will need their young players to step up this year since they don't have much cap room to work with after trading for Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Conwell is looking like he could give Miami solid minutes off the bench.

Golden State didn't get much from its group, but Lachlin Olbrich put up impressive numbers and was hyper-efficient as he eyes a roster spot after spending last season in the G League.

The Warriors will be back in action on Thursday, while the Heat will begin Summer League Las Vegas on Friday.
