Giannis' Heat Jersey Number Revealed After Star Teased Change on Video Following Bucks Trade

Giannis Antetokounmpo's number with the Miami Heat has been revealed following a trade that sent him from the Milwaukee Bucks, and he will be making a change.

Giannis' switch comes after the team announced on Monday that Antetokounmpo would wear No. 34, which would've kept him in the same number he has worn his entire career.

Antetokounmpo previously said on a livestream on Monday that he planned to change his number to No. 7.

"No. 7… that's not a bad number, I'm gonna take that," he said.

The last Heat player to wear No. 34 was Ray Allen, who, of course, helped deliver a championship to Miami. And as Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel noted, the last player to wear No. 7 is Ryan Conwell, who currently has it.

If Antetokounmpo can continue carving out his tremendous legacy in Miami, his number could end up in the rafters alongside other Heat legends like Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and more.
