Celtics' Jayson Tatum Boxes with Shawn Porter in New Viral Photos After Jaylen Brown-76ers Trade

After his offseason training regimen, handling the physicality of an NBA game should be no trouble for Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum.

The six-time All-Star shared a series of photos on Instagram detailing what he has been up to this summer. Part of his conditioning included some work in the ring with retired boxer Shawn Porter:

Tatum has indirectly had a busy week with the Celtics agreeing to trade Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers. It's a seismic change for the team and player as Tatum and Brown were teammates for nine seasons.

"Forever grateful for all that we accomplished together, for pushing me to be a better player," Tatum wrote on social media when reacting to the move. "From first round exits to winning a chip together I'm thankful for it all. Nothing but love and respect for you as a player and as a person! The 2026-27 season already figured to be a pivotal one for the veteran forward since its his first full year back from his Achilles injury. Now, his performance will be even more important in Boston's quest to remain a playoff team.
