
NBA Summer League Box Score Stats, Highlights for Yaxel, Lakers' Carr, Top Stars from July 3 Results
NBA Summer League action has kicked off with the California Classic, which is taking place at the Chase Center in San Francisco and Golden 1 Center in Sacramento from Friday through Monday.
A quartet of teams are playing a round robin at each location.
The Chase Center group consists of the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers and "Warriors Gold," one of two Golden State Warriors teams participating in this event.
The Sacramento Kings, Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and "Warriors Blue" are playing at Golden 1 Center.
The Chase Center served as the initial California Classic host, with the Heat playing the Spurs and the Lakers facing Warriors Gold. Here's how those games went down alongside some highlights and notes on a few names.
Heat 88, Spurs 87
Jahmir Young and Ryan Conwell scored 21 points apiece while Trevor Keels dropped 18 points off the bench to lead Miami to an 88-87 win over San Antonio.
Former Michigan star Vladislav Goldin added 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks off the bench.
Five Spurs scored in double digits led by Miles Kelly's 16. RJ Davis scored 15, while Ja'Kobi Gillespie, Maliq Brown and former UConn star big man Tarris Reed Jr., the No. 26 overall pick in this year's draft, added 10 points apiece.
