NBA Summer League Box Score Stats, Highlights for Yaxel, Lakers' Carr, Top Stars from July 3 Results

NBA Summer League action has kicked off with the California Classic, which is taking place at the Chase Center in San Francisco and Golden 1 Center in Sacramento from Friday through Monday.

A quartet of teams are playing a round robin at each location.

The Chase Center group consists of the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers and "Warriors Gold," one of two Golden State Warriors teams participating in this event.

The Sacramento Kings, Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and "Warriors Blue" are playing at Golden 1 Center.

The Chase Center served as the initial California Classic host, with the Heat playing the Spurs and the Lakers facing Warriors Gold. Here's how those games went down alongside some highlights and notes on a few names.

Heat 88, Spurs 87

Jahmir Young scored 21 points, 2026 second-round pick Ryan Conwell had 21 as and Trevor Keels dropped 18 points off the bench to lead Miami to an 88-87 win over San Antonio.

Former Michigan star Vladislav Goldin added 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks off the bench.

Five Spurs scored in double digits led by Miles Kelly's 16. RJ Davis scored 15, while 2026 second-rounders Ja'Kobi Gillespie and Maliq Brown had 10 apiece. Former UConn star big man Tarris Reed Jr., the No. 26 overall pick in this year's draft, added 10 points as well.

Warriors Gold 104, Lakers 72

Yaxel Lendeborg, the No. 11 overall pick in the NBA draft, scored 19 points on perfect 6-of-6 shooting (4-of-4 from three) alongside six assists and five rebounds in just 22 minutes en route to leading Warriors Gold to a dominant 32-point win.

Warriors Gold shot 63 percent from the field and 16-of-26 from three and outscored the Lakers 58-29 over the second and third quarters. Will Richard, who impressed for Golden State during his rookie season last year, added 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting alongside three steals.

This was a tough night for the Lakers, but Cameron Carr, the No. 24 overall pick in this year's NBA draft, fared quite well.

Carr led L.A. with 19 points while shooting 7-of-15 from the field and 5-of-11 from three.
