"Don't worry lil bro, we will always be friends," Brown said alongside a heart emoji.
ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Wednesday that the Celtics agreed to trade Brown for Paul George, two first round draft picks (2028 and 2031) and two second round draft picks (2028 and 2030).
Brown certainly made an impact on many fans, young and old, during his 10-year Celtics career. During that decade, Brown made five All-Star teams and two All-NBA teams. Boston made the playoffs in all 10 of his seasons, including six Eastern Conference Finals appearances, two East titles and one NBA championship.
Now he is a member of the 76ers, though. That's left many fans heartbroken, understandably, as Brown moves onto his next chapter.
