'Highway Robbery,' NBA GM Rips Celtics Over Jaylen Brown Trade to 76ers for Paul George
At least one NBA general manager was absolutely stunned that the Boston Celtics traded Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
"This was highway robbery," an anonymous GM told basketball analyst Jeff Goodman. "I have no idea what Brad Stevens was thinking. The Celtics will be lucky to get in the play-in next year."
"It says everything about JB's trade value right now," another general manager added.

Jaylen Brown traded in blockbuster deal

AD Appears to Shade Lakers GM
ESPN's Shams Charania outlined the full terms of the deal, with Paul George and four draft picks heading back to Boston:
Trading the 29-year-old Brown after his best season for a 36-year-old and injury-prone George doesn't seem like the best way to maximize Jayson Tatum's prime, even if the draft capital is beneficial down the line. If Boston has another move up their sleeve, perhaps this trade will look better going forward.
