Tyrese Maxey Reacts to 76ers Blockbuster Jaylen Brown Trade with Celtics in Trending Post
Philadelphia 76ers point guard Tyrese Maxey reacted to the blockbuster trade that is bringing Jaylen Brown to town for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, per ESPN's Shams Charania.
It's a stunning move, to say the least, but this offseason has been full of eye-opening and shocking news, which has been a summer NBA trend over the years.

Fans React to Jaylen Brown Trade 🤯
During this offseason alone, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been traded to the Miami Heat, LaMalo Ball has been dealt to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kawhi Leonard has been sent to the Toronto Raptors and Ja Morant was moved to the Portland Trail Blazers. We also now know that LeBron James' eight-year tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers has come to a close.
Now Jaylen Brown and Paul George are on the move as the NBA drama continues.
Needless to say, Philadelphia wasn't seen or talked about as a potential destination for Brown.
The writing was on the wall that Brown could be headed out of town after the Celtics tried and failed to move him to the Milwaukee Bucks for Antetokounmpo, but seeing him go to an Eastern Conference rival is still a stunner.
While the C's are getting some draft capital in return, the 29-year-old Brown just had his best-ever season, posting 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game en route to All-NBA Second Team honors.
The 36-year-old George has enjoyed a great career (nine All-Star Games, six All-NBA teams), but he's struggled through a pair of injury-shortened seasons and just averaged 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
Ultimately, the NBA offseason drama knows no bounds. As far as Maxey and the 76ers are concerned, they just got a huge addition to the team, and Philadelphia looks like a legitimate Eastern Conference contender now.
